Help topics
Common questions and troubleshooting steps for the AI-Sholat app.
-
Camera permission
The app requires camera permission for AI prayer detection. You can grant or withdraw this access at any time in Android Settings > Apps > AI-Sholat > Permissions.
-
Prayer detection
For best results, place your phone on the prayer mat in front of you. Ensure the room is well-lit and your full body is visible to the camera.
-
Rakaat counting
The rakaat count updates automatically based on your movements. If the count misses a position, you can manually adjust the count on the prayer screen.
-
Prayer records
Your five daily prayers are recorded automatically when you finish a session. You can review your consistency and history in the History tab.
-
Notifications
You can enable prayer reminders and Adhan alerts in Settings > Notifications. Ensure battery optimization is disabled for AI-Sholat for reliable alerts.
-
Cloud Sync
Sign in with Google to enable cloud synchronization. This keeps your prayer history and Prayer Circle data safe and accessible across all your Android devices.
Reporting a problem
Including a few details in your first email usually saves a round trip. Where you can, please tell us:
- Your phone model and Android version.
- The AI-Sholat app version you are using.
- What you were doing in the app when the problem happened.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- Whether the problem happens every time or only sometimes.
Please do not send photographs or video of yourself praying. They are not needed to investigate a problem.
Deleting your account or data
You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated information permanently within the app by navigating to Settings > Profile > Delete Account.
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion on our Account Deletion page.
To manage specific data categories without deleting your account (such as resetting your prayer history), see the Data Management page.
Privacy
How the app handles information, including why it asks for camera access, is described on the Privacy Policy page.
About AI-Sholat
AI-Sholat is an Android app published by AI ShOLAT. It helps you keep track of your five daily prayers, and it uses your device camera with on-device AI-based pose detection to recognise prayer positions and help count rakaat.
AI-Sholat is an assistive tool. It supports your prayer rather than replacing your own attention to it.
